Candiace Dillard Bassett Is Outfitting Her Nursery with "Magical" Baby Items (VIDEO)

The Real Housewives of Potomac alum Candiace Dillard Bassett is in the second trimester of her first pregnancy, and she's already having the time of her life preparing her baby's nursery.

In a May 9 Instagram video, Candiace gushed about the "magical road ahead" in her motherhood journey as she preps for her and Chris Bassett's first child together. The "Drive Back" singer thanked baby goods companies 4moms, Hegen, and DockATot, for some of their cherished items and showed off how she was already enjoying the products.

"So GRATEFUL to the amazingly kind peeps [...] for literally showering me with [mama] and [baby] [must-haves] for the magical road ahead!!" Candiace captioned the video in which she sat next to a MamaRoo Multimotion Baby Swing from 4moms that played the nursery rhyme "Head Shoulders Knees and Toes."

Further in the edited video, Candiace smiled in front of a gift box filled with baby bottles and other accessories.

In the background, we also spotted a white bassinet and a DockATot MiniMat, which is described on their website as "designed to stimulate and support your baby’s development while creating an intentional space for play."

Candiace first announced mid-April that she and Chris were expecting their first child together. "I'm about 13 weeks...so just about in the second trimester," Candiace told Entertainment Tonight at the time of her announcement. "It's been weird, but also very wonderful, I think, to kind of keep it to ourselves to this point."

Pregnant Candiace Dillard Bassett Is Officially in Her Second Trimester and Feeling "Tired"

The "Fine Wine" songstress since shared more details in an Instagram Live on April 22, opening up about her struggles with extreme nausea and exhaustion.

"So I'll eat, not wanting to eat, but knowing if I don't eat, I'm about to be laid up," Candiace explained during the live session. "And then 30 minutes later, it's like that wasn't enough, we're nauseous again. And then a lot of days I don't want to eat but I have to. So I went from loving food, enjoying food — and sometimes I still do, but a lot of days, I don't want to but I have to."

She continued: "I'm tired. I'm like, tired. And I was told, 'Oh, second trimester, you're going to get all this energy.' Um, where is it? Where is the energy?"
