Peter Rosenberg apparently isn’t looking forward to the looming meeting of the minds between Candace Owens and Joe Budden, as the radio personality seemingly took a shot at Budden’s invitation to interview Owens on the Joe Budden Podcast.
However, Owens doesn’t seem to be phased by Rosenberg’s lack of fandom, as she clapped back at the veteran DJ’s quip with a few pointed words of her own.
On Tuesday (Feb. 27), Rosenberg took to X, formerly Twitter, to share his thoughts regarding polarizing figures being given platforms to broadcast their rhetoric. “So sick of the idea that conversations need to be had with bigots, trolls, and immoral a-holes,” the 44-year-old tweeted.
“Exchanging ideas among smart good people is useful… hearing a hateful hack babble on about hate is not worth anyone’s time,” he added. After catching wind of Rosenberg’s digs, Owens followed suit on social media the following day, going as far as to mention Rosenberg by name in a series of posts of her own.

“I love this so much. I don’t know who Peter Rosenberg is but I want to thank him for freaking out about me and @JoeBudden speaking with one another,” Owens wrote on X, attributing the radio vet’s tweets as being aimed at her and Budden.
“Literally who the hell is @Rosenbergradio, who grew up in one of the wealthiest towns in America, to step to two Black people—who came from nothing— to tell them they shouldn’t speak.”
Despite sarcastically feigning ignorance to who Rosenberg was prior to his social media posts about her and Budden’s interview, the 34-year-old conservative clearly did her research, as she alluded to the Hip-Hop fanatic’s privileged background.
“Peter Rosenberg is a plantation supervisor,” Owens added in a subsequent post. “His dad, MJ Rosenberg, worked on Capitol Hill for Democratic Senators and House members for 20 years and then worked with AIPAC for 6 years thereafter.”
Rosenberg’s reaction came shortly after the announcement of Owens’ upcoming appearance on the Joe Budden Podcast, which the pair revealed on Tuesday (Feb. 27) through a series of social media posts.
