Canadian or Cincinnatian? Drake wears UC Bearcats jersey in new social media video
We already know that Drake is a Reds fan, but now the hip-hop icon is showing love to another Cincinnati sports team.
A video of the rapper rocking a No. 14 throwback Jordan Brand Bearcats jersey was reposted to X on Tuesday by podcast host Brandon Saho. In the clip, Drake is seen repping the jersey alongside fellow Canadian rapper Preme while afrobeat singer Rema's "Dumebi" plays in the background.
The University of Cincinnati men's basketball team responded to the tweet, writing, "The Drake x Eric Hicks collab we've been waiting for."

Hicks, a forward, wore the No. 14 jersey while playing for the Bearcats from 2002-2006.
Despite not adding Cincinnati to his "It's All A Blur" tour this week, Drake has shown love for the Queen City in the past. In October, he name-dropped Cincy's baseball team in his song "Rich Baby Daddy," featured on his eighth studio album "For All The Dogs."
"Rollie gang, patty gang, rich baby daddy gang, I'm with Red like I'm at a Cincinnati game," he rapped.
He wore a Reds jersey in April while discussing sports betting on Instagram. The Reds reacted on social media Friday by posting the clip of Drake in their jersey.
The rapper also came to town to visit Serena Williams in 2015 during the Western & Southern Open. And in "Elevate," a song on his 2018 album, "Scorpion," the artist rapped, "Couldn't picture wifin' Braden when I was pumpin' gas on road trips to go from Cincinnati on to Dayton."
The UC men's basketball team is currently 3-0 this season since their 85-72 win against Eastern Washington on Nov. 12. The Bearcats will take on Georgia Tech on Wednesday, Nov. 22.
