Camila Alves McConaughey is reflecting on her blessings this Thanksgiving, including having her mother-in-law — and husband Matthew McConaughey's mother — Kay McConaughey, in her life.

The model, 41, posted an Instagram video on Friday, joined by Kay, 91. As the pair wished everyone a happy Thanksgiving "from our family to yours," they spoke about the importance of pausing to practice gratitude this time of year.

"In the midst of everything you're doing today, whatever it is that you're doing, take a break and take a moment to really think in your life what you're grateful for and how you can help others," Camila said, before asking Kay — or "MaMac," as she's affectionately known — what she's grateful for.

For the nonagenarian, it's all about enjoying good health. "Well, No. 1, I'm grateful that I have [my] sons and their spouses and my grandchildren and my great-grandchildren and they're all healthy. That's the main thing — they're all healthy, and I'm very healthy," she said.

"And when you have good health, nine out of 10 times you're happy," she continued. "So there you go, put it together. Happy and healthy, you can't beat it."

Camila — who has been married to actor Matthew McConaughey since 2012 — included a text caption over the video, sharing that she feels grateful for Kay. "MaMac's Thanksgiving gratitude! She's 91 and I am blessed and grateful to have her in my life," she wrote.

In the post's caption, she urged her followers in both English and Portuguese, "Let’s reflect on how we can practice GRATITUDE daily, not just on Thanksgiving Day."

While Camila and Kay enjoy a close relationship these days, the Just Try One Bite author recently revealed that her mother-in-law gave her a difficult time when she first began dating Matthew, 54, in 2006.

"She did all these things when I first came in the picture. She was really testing me. I mean really testing me," Camila said on Southern Living's Biscuits & Jam podcast in August. "She would call me by all of Matthew’s ex-girlfriend’s names, she would start speaking Spanish with me in a very broken way, kind of putting down a bit, all kinds of stuff."

She recounted bringing Kay on a trip to Istanbul, Turkey, and having an unpleasant interaction with her at the hotel that finally made her realize what was really driving Kay's behavior.

"I was taking her to her room and she got into this whole other thing that is not my place to share, and she starts crying. I’m like, ‘Oh my gosh, Ma Mac,’ feeling so sorry, and as I put her to bed, I look at her and I’m like, ‘Oh my gosh, she’s full of s---,' " Camila explained.

She said she then decided to turn the tables and bring out her "spicy Brazilian Latin side" and "let her have it." After that, Kay's attitude completely changed.

"At the end she just looks at me and she was like, ‘Okay, now you’re in.’ All she wanted was for me to fight back, and from that day on, that night on, we have the most amazing relationship," she said.

In a moment over the summer that highlighted the pair's sweet bond, Camila posted an Instagram photo showing her applying dye to Kaye's hair, explaining in the caption that she even skipped Fashion Week to give her mother-in-law the at-home salon session.

"Not at fashion week … but things are pretty exciting and fashionable here! Family duties first … Lord don’t let her hair fall off 🙏🏽🙏🏽 no pressure!!" she wrote.
