Social media timelines have been flooded with clips from rapper Cam’ron’s off-the-rails interview with CNN’s Abby Phillips.

On Monday, Cam’ron, born Cameron Giles, appeared on Phillips’ show “NewsNight” and was visibly annoyed when he was repeatedly asked about the 2016 surveillance video showing Sean “Diddy” Combs physically assaulting his then-girlfriend Cassandra “Cassie” Ventura.

Phillips asked the “Hey Ma” artist if he “recognized that Sean Combs” in the video, referencing the hip-hop mogul’s violent behavior displayed.

“Everything in the video is egregious, I’m against (it), I don’t support,” he explained as he slammed Diddy’s behavior. He also said he was “upset” once he saw the video.

Cam’ron made it clear that he doesn’t know Diddy that well, but when he was asked again if he recognized “that sort of anger at all?” things started to go awry.

“I don’t know him like that, what do you mean did I recognize him? I’ve seen him. What you mean my experiences? I’ve seen them and I thought it was disgusting. I didn’t do a zoom to see if it was really him or something, he admitted it was him.”

When he was asked his thoughts on Diddy’s apology, the Diplomats founder said it wasn’t for him to decide; it was for Ventura.

“What I think about it (doesn’t) matter, he didn’t do (anything) to me.”

Cam’ron hosts the sports show “It Is What It Is” with fellow Harlem native and rapper Ma$e, who was signed to Combs’ Bad Boy Entertainment in the ’90s and 2000s.

When he was asked more questions about Diddy’s rumored problematic business dealings with other artists like Ma$e, he took a swig of his libido-boosting drink HorsePower and plugged the product.

Things took a turn when Phillips asked if Combs was protected by those around him, which enabled the bad behavior.

“Who the talent agent for this joint? Like, you think I be sitting watching what Diddy do and all this? I didn’t know this was a Diddy joint that y’all invited me to.”

On Tuesday morning, he addressed the viral interview on his show and explained his side of the story.

While he said he was invited to talk about Diddy, he was more displeased that they didn’t invite him to talk about the success of his podcast or about the “positive stuff we do in the community.”

“Every day, five days a week, Ma$e talks to kids on a Zoom call,” he explained. “Every day at five o’clock, it (doesn’t) matter what’s going on, what’s happening, where he’s at. It could be money involved, it could be a photoshoot, he stops what he’s doing to talk to kids around the world about being positive and doing what they believe in.”

“You call me on CNN for the bulls–t, I’m going to give you the bulls–t, that’s just what’s going to happen. So, we got some free promo, I teased the PinkHorsePower,” he said.

He then chided the network for not watching his 2007 “60 Minutes” interview with Anderson Cooper where he infamously made comments about “snitching,” which he later apologized for.

In 2003, Cam’ron and Roc-A-Fella co-founder Damon “Dame” Dash went head-to-head with Bill O’Reilly on his then-show The O’Reilly Factor. The interview famously led to Cam’ron’s “you mad” comment, which is a landmark moment in hip-hop history.
