Maybe CNN didn’t see Cam’ron’s previous cable news interviews, but here we go again. Cam went viral on Monday night (May 20) after being interviewed on the network about Diddy’s 2016 assault on Cassie and his apology. Host and reporter Abby Phillip asked the Dipset emcee whether or not he recognized “that Sean Combs,” to which Cam staunchly swore off domestic abuse and any other behavior associated with it.

“First of all, everything in the video was egregious. I don’t support all the charges that’s alleged against him. I don’t support any of that — trafficking minors, domestic violence. I’m totally against it,” the It Is What Is host said. “So when I saw the video, yeah, I was kinda upset with it. Being that I know him — he’s not necessarily a friend — but I was upset when I saw it.”

Phillip then doubled down on her question of whether Cam “recognized” this version of Combs. Killah became irate at the inquiry, saying, “I don’t know him like that. What do you mean do I recognize him? What do you mean my experiences? I seen it and I thought it was disgusting. I didn’t zoom in to see if it was really him, but he admitted it was him.”

Abby later asked Cam about Puffy’s history with his Bad Boy artists. She played him a clip from his sports show in which Ma$e explained to Cam’ron why he introduced him to the Notorious B.I.G. instead of Diddy. After the clip, the Purple Haze rapper began dancing around the inquiry and took the time to promote his Pink Horse Power sex supplement. “Sorry, I’m gonna get some cheeks after this Horse Power joint,” he said matter of factly, as Abby looked on bewildered by his actions.

Cam’ron eventually broke the fourth wall and asked a question that many viewers at home were probably wondering. “Who’s the talent agent for this joint? You think I be sitting around watching what Diddy do?” the Harlemite pondered. “I didn’t know that this was a Diddy joint that you invited me to. Yo, who booked me for this joint? Y’all wildin.'”

Killah’s actions are reminiscent of his demeanor during his infamous 2003 interview with Bill O’Reilly’s Fox News show, The O’Reilly Factor. The talking head appeared alongside Dame Dash, where the men were asked about Hip-Hop music’s influence on America’s children. As the debate raged on, Cam began taunting Bill, saying, “Why you don’t wanna let him talk? You mad, you madddddd, you mad! When did you start covering the field? I got dirt on you, doggy,” while laughing at him and alluding to Bill’s sexual assault allegations.
