'When Calls the Heart' Alums Star in Hallmark's 'Legend of the Lost Locket'

If you love Antiques Roadshow and a good mystery, then you'll likely enjoy Hallmark Channel's latest Spring into Love movie, Legend of the Lost Locket. This charming and heartfelt movie stars When Calls the Heart alums, Natasha Burnett and Viv Leacock. The two play a British antiques dealer (Burnett hails from the UK, IRL) and a local Massachusetts sheriff who go on the hunt for 19th-century era locket.
What is Legend of the Lost Locket about?
London-based antiques expert Amelia Scott (Natasha Burnett) is on the hunt for a long-lost antique locket that legend says will grant the wearer true love. Her late mother started the quest and Amelia is bound and determined to see it through. Amelia’s search takes her to a small town in Massachusetts, where she immediately clashes with Sheriff Marcus Forrest (Viv Leacock), who questions her motives and interest in the town’s history.
After a somewhat rocky start, Sheriff Forrest begins to recognize what acquiring the iconic locket can mean to the local community, so he joins Amelia in the race to find the antique before any of the competition can decipher the clues and beat them to the treasure. As their pursuit of the locket intensifies, so do their feelings for each other. From the Boston art world to participation in the town’s annual Founder’s Day costume ball, their search for the fabled locket inspires Amelia and Marcus to follow their hearts to the ultimate treasure – true love.

Natasha Burnett (Amelia Scott)
British native Natasha Burnett gets to sport her natural accent in this film. She currently stars as Winnie Canfield on When Calls the Heart opposite Viv Leacock. Burnett has previously appeared on The Good Doctor, iZombie, and Supergirl.
Viv Leacock (Sheriff Marcus Forrest)
Leacock has been acting for over 30 years. He got his big break starring opposite Eddie Murphy in I Spy. He currently stars opposite Natasha Burnett as Joseph Canfield on When Calls the Heart. His other credits include A Million Little Things, The X-Files, and Batwoman.
