Calling all musical theatre fans: Broadway Rave coming to STL

ST. LOUIS – If you’re the person who listens to show tunes in the car, an event coming to St. Louis may be the perfect party for you.

On July 19, Broadway Rave will be at the Delmar Hall. The company is a traveling party, playing only the most popular musical theatre tunes. The group’s Instagram describes it as “a traveling dance party for adult theatre kids.”

Social media platforms show the event as something that can look like a concert featuring classic Broadway songs. From “Hamilton” and “Hairspray” to “The Book of Mormon” and “Rent,” there is a mix of everything.

Some stops along the tour have surprise Broadway-star guests; for example, Ryan McCartan from the musical “Heathers” visited a show in New York City. It’s also encouraged for guests to come dressed as their favorite Broadway character.

Tickets to the event are $15 for those 18 years of age and older. To purchase tickets, click here.
