This California Woman Lost Her Entire Family In A Fatal Car Accident

Father and two young children die in early morning collision.

A wife and mother in California’s entire family passed away after a fatal car crash this past weekend. The devastating loss was revealed on Instagram after Lavell Mann, 9-month-old Legend, and 3-year-old Logan, were killed on the 91 freeway early Saturday (July 9).

“My babies, I’m nothing without you two,” his wife, Niya, wrote next to a photo of their children. “My heart is forever broken, Logan and Legend mommy forever will ❤️ you. I will stay strong and always know that you both looking over me with daddy. I would have given my life for every last one of y’all. My life line man this hurts….💔.”

According to KTLA 5, the car crash occurred just after 1:00 a.m.. Lavell, 33, was driving with his children when another vehicle rear ended a gas-tanker, causing the fatal collision.

“The collision sent the Jeep out of control and into the center median which caused another collision,” said California Highway Patrol Jeremy Tolen.

Lavell’s Jeep was hit and subsequently turned over before being stuck by another car, a BMW sedan. The woman in the BMW wasn’t injured.

A GoFundMe account launched to help the family has already raised more than $30,000 since the weekend.
