Fun nights with the Montgomery Biscuits

  • Thursday: 6:35 p.m. — Show up early, because free tank tops are being given away to first 1,000 fans age 15 and older. It's also Thirsty Thursday, with half off domestic drafts and cans.

  • Friday: 6:35 p.m. — In honor of Youth Sports Night, Lil' Crumbs members get free admission.

  • Saturday: 6:05 p.m. — It's Princess Night at Riverwalk Stadium. Kids of all ages are encouraged to dress as their favorite princess or prince. You can take photos with the princesses that will be on the concourse during the game. Stay after the game for a MAX Fireworks show fit for a King or Queen.

  • Sunday: 3:33 p.m. — They've got Lil' Crumbs Beach Towels to give away for the first 500 fans age 14 and younger. Get there early — gates open at 2:30 p.m. You can have a pre-game catch on the field from 2:30-3 p.m. Bring your glove and ball. Bring your dog for Bark in the Park. After the game, kids can have a run around the bases. The line will start at the top of section 117 in the 9th inning.

  • Monday: 6:05 p.m. — In a rare Monday home game, the Biscuits will be honor Independence Day a day early, celebrating all things America. There's MAX Fireworks after the game.

Delman Circus continues at Eastdale Mall

The international Delman Circus is set up next to Belk at 100 W. Eastdale Mall, now through July 10. the show features clowns, aerialists, acrobats, jugglers, and cartoon characters from TV and film — including a "Frozen" adventure with snow, a transforming car, "Paw Patrol" characters and more. General admission tickets for adults and children can be purchased online for $10 each at circusdelman.com. That price is valid for the first 100 tickets of each show, and ends two hours before each performance. There are no performances on Wednesdays, and no performance on July 4.

Opening reception for summer exhibitions at MMFA

Join Montgomery Museum of Fine Arts on Friday 5-7 p.m. for a free opening reception celebrating its summer exhibitions: Alabama A to Z, the 45th Biennial Montgomery Art Guild Museum Exhibition, and Featured Artist Exhibition, Who Will Keep the Memories: Debra Eubanks Riffe. The evening will begin with an awards ceremony followed by a reception. The museum is at One Museum Drive in Blount Cultural Park.

Red White and Bacon at Harley-Davidson of Montgomery

Harley-Davidson of Montgomery, 655 N. Eastern Blvd., is hosting Red White and Bacon on Saturday from 10 a.m. to noon. It's an event with live music, food and more.

Rock, Paper, Art!

Are you ready for a night of music, art and fun? On Saturday at The Sanctuary, 432 S. Goldthwaite St., Montgomery, Rock Paper Art is where you can enjoy live performances from local bands, browse and buy original artworks from talented artists, and mingle with other creative souls. Lake Jordan HOBO Boat Parade

Boats will assemble at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 1, and the parade starts at 2 p.m. It'll last about an hour. The route starts at the State Dock (Camp Rotary), proceed up the Titus side, then loop around at the opening to Blackwell's and go back down the Holtville side, ending in front of the canal. R&B Blues Picnic Summer Series Finale

Cabaret at Alabama Shakespeare Festival

July 6-Aug. 6 on Alabama Shakespeare Festival’s Festival Stage. One of the most famous American musicals of all time — from the creators of Chicago — Cabaret takes us to 1929 Berlin during the twilight of the Jazz Age as the Nazis are ascending to power. This groundbreaking musical focuses on the nightlife at the seedy Kit Kat Klub and revolves around American writer Clifford Bradshaw and the English cabaret performer Sally Bowles. The long-awaited grand opening of Montgomery Whitewater is happening on July 7-9 at the manmade river channel facility at 1100 Maxwell Blvd. While entry to Montgomery Whitewater is free, for this weekend they'll charge a $10 parking fee from 3:30 p.m. on July 7 until 6 p.m. on July 9.
