Caitlyn Jenner is reflecting on her love story with ex-wife Kris Jenner.

The Olympian, 73, opened up about her past with Kris, 67, in a new interview with The Times, noting that when they met during a blind date in 1990, it was "love at first sight."

“We hit it off right at the beginning, and we were married after five and a half months," Caitlyn said. "I was infatuated with her, because she was very different from me. But yes, I’d have to say, it was love at first sight.”

As Caitlyn recalled, before she met Kris, she had experienced “six years of really not even wanting to work." Kris at the time was "basically a housewife in Beverly Hills," Caitlyn added, and “took over my business” to the point where she helped launch the family into infomercials.

“I had no idea what the future held for us," the eventual Keeping Up with the Kardashians star told The Times. "I don’t think even she did.”

The pair — who share two children, daughters Kendall, 27, and Kylie, 26 — announced their separation in 2013 after 22 years of marriage, and two years before Caitlyn publicly came out as transgender.

Earlier this week, Caitlyn revealed in a discussion with ITV's This Morning that she and Kris "really never talk anymore."

She added that "it's kind of sad, because we went through a lot, but there's just a lot there."

Caitlyn's conversation with The Times comes before the release of House of Kardashian, a three-part documentary that premieres in the U.K. on Sky Documentaries and streaming service Now on Sunday. (A U.S. premiere date for the docuseries has yet to be announced.)

"I mean, it’s very difficult when you’re in public life and in the media, especially the Kardashians. ... Sometimes it’s just very disappointing to see how they’re represented," Caitlyn — who interviewed for the docuseries, despite the other members of the Kardashian-Jenner family being uninvolved — told The Times.

"And when they approached me about doing this show, once I thought about it, I thought, ‘You know what? I want to get involved. I want to do my best to be very positive and really represent the family and the kids in a positive way,' " she added.
