Caitlyn Jenner Joke Helps Send 13-Year-Old ‘AGT’ Comedian to Next Round

Lori Mae Hernandez returned to the America’s Got Talent stage for another audition to hopefully advance to the live shows. In her first audition, Lori Mae made quite the impression when she cracked a couple jokes about Donald Trump. This time around, the 13-year-old comedian took on another controversial figure, Caitlyn Jenner.

Lori started off her routine by talking about becoming a tween and what it’s like transitioning from a child to a teenager, saying, “I still love Disney songs, now I just want them sung by hot guys.” She then mentioned that becoming a woman is so difficult that people have to train to wear a bra, which she followed up with, “and if you don’t believe me, ask Caitlyn Jenner.” The young comedian then wrapped up her set with, “I think it’s great what she’s doing. A dad that would go to that length to teach her daughters how to dress right.”

In the end, Lori’s risky material paid off as she was one of the few acts that the judges selected to move on to the live shows.

America’s Got Talent airs Tuesday and Wednesday at 8 p.m. on NBC.
