CAA Ups 16 To Agent Or Executive

Creative Artists Agency announced on Wednesday that it has promoted a group of 16 to Agent or Executive. The promotees are Gabrielle Fetters, Megan Glendinning, Justin Gorkowitz, Evan Greenberg, Leilani Houston, Alex Hubert, Hannah Kaiser, Ashley King, Kyle Margolis, Peppa Mignone, Max Miller, Khalil Roberts, Sarah Phillips, Cami Potter, Jack Upton, and Connie Yan.

Fetters and Mignone have been promoted to Agent, and Roberts to Executive within the agency’s Books department. Glendinning, Greenberg, Hubert, and King have been upped to Agent in Music Touring, with Gorkowitz to serve as an Agent in Comedy Touring. TV agents Kaiser, Margolis and Potter will respectively be working in Scripted, News and Talent, with Upton to serve as an Agent in the Talent department. Miller is now an Agent in Motion Picture Talent, with Yan as an Agent in MP Lit. Houston was upped to Agent in Commercial Endorsements, with Phillips to serve as an Executive in CAA Search, which specializes in recruiting C-level and senior executives, non-executive directors, and board-level executives worldwide.

Fetters, Mignone and Phillips will work out of London, while Roberts, Gorkowitz, Houston, Margolis and Upton will operate out of New York. L.A.-based promotes include Glendinning, Greenberg, Hubert, King, Kaiser, Miller, Potter and Yan.

Fetters began her career in the Translation Rights department at WME after graduating from Northwestern University with a degree in English Literature, coming over to CAA as a Coordinator in 2021. She was accepted into the agency’s trainee program, CAA Elevate, in October of the same year.

A graduate of Flinders University in South Australia, with a degree in English Literature, Mignone joined from Curtis Brown Literary Agency in 2022 and was accepted into Elevate in March of this year.

In their new roles, both Fetters and Mignone will focus on selling translation rights around the world for a wide-ranging list of authors, across fiction and nonfiction.

A graduate of Howard University with a degree in Public Relations, Roberts joined CAA as a receptionist in 2019 before being upped to Coordinator, entering the Elevate program in July. In his new role as an Executive, he will work in collaboration with publishing houses to create and execute marketing, publicity and event strategies for the agency’s author clients.

After graduating from Loyola Marymount University with a degree in Communication and Media, Glendinning began her career as a clerk in CAA’s mailroom in 2018. She served as an assistant to Jared Martin, Andrew Simon, and Ryan Harlacher, before being promoted to Booking Professional in 2022, and was accepted into Elevate in July 2023.

Greenberg joined CAA as a mailroom clerk in 2017 after graduating from USC with a degree in Philosophy, Politics, and Law. Later serving as an assistant to Alex Becket, Matthew Kingsley, and Hunter Williams, he was elevated to Coordinator in 2022, and accepted into Elevate in July 2023.

Hubert began his career as a clerk in CAA’s mailroom in 2016 after graduating from UC Santa Barbara with a degree in Sociology. He worked as an assistant to Lee Goforth, Brett Steinberg, Jared Martin, Brian Greenbaum, and Ken Ashley, and served as a Booking Professional in 2022 before being accepted into Elevate in July 2023.

Beginning her career as a receptionist at CAA in 2017 after graduating from Middle Tennessee State University with a degree in Music Business, King was later an assistant to Cameron Kaiser and Marlene Tsuchii, before being elevated to Booking Professional in 2022.

Gorkowitz began his career in the Comedy Touring division at APA after graduating in 2017 from the University of California, Los Angeles School of Law. He joined CAA as an assistant in 2018, subsequently serving as a Coordinator and Booking Professional, and was accepted into Elevate in 2022.

Joining CAA as a mailroom clerk in 2018, Houston was accepted into Elevate in July 2023. In her new role, the USC Communications grad will create opportunities for clients in the world of on-camera commercials, digital, print, and social media-driven campaigns, as well as personal appearances, voice-over, licensing, and equity deals, both domestically and internationally.

After graduating from Cornell University with a Communications degree, Kaiser began her career at CAA as a mailroom clerk in 2019. She then served as an assistant to Rob Kenneally and the Head of CAA’s Television department, Joe Cohen, before being accepted into Elevate in 2022. Her new role in Television Scripted will have her working on behalf of writer, producer, and director clients.

Margolis began his career at CAA as a mailroom clerk in 2019, then serving as an assistant in the Television News department. He was promoted to Television News Coordinator in 2021 and accepted into Elevate in 2022. A graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a degree in Journalism, Margolis will work on behalf of journalist and broadcast talent across television, streaming, digital, and print platforms.

Miller graduated from the University of Miami with a degree in Advertising, beginning his career at CAA in 2018. He most recently assisted agency Co-Chairman Kevin Huvane and was accepted into Elevate in 2022.

A graduate of Cornell University, Phillips began her career at CAA in 2019. In her new role as part of CAA Search, she will continue to identify and place top talent in leadership positions, spanning sports, media, entertainment, and technology.

Potter began her career as a CAA mailroom clerk in 2018, then serving as an assistant to Amanda Lie and Co-Head of CAA’s Television Talent department, Jaime Feld, before being accepted into Elevate in 2022. She graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a degree in English and Cinema Studies.

Upton began his career at CAA in 2018, as an intern in the agency’s Nonfiction Television department. After graduating from the Newhouse School at Syracuse University in 2019, he returned to the agency full-time as a mailroom clerk. He then served as assistant to the Head of CAA’s Theatre department, Joe Machota, before being accepted into Elevate in 2022.

Yan began her career as a CAA mailroom clerk in 2017, a year after graduating from Harvard University with a degree in Psychology. She most recently assisted agency CEO and Co-Chairman Bryan Lourd and was accepted into Elevate in 2021.
