CAA Adds Music Sponsorship Exec To NY Office

Music marketing and tour sponsorship executive Dave Aussenberg has joined CAA to “help bolster the agency’s growing Music Brand Partnerships group,” the agency announced. Aussenberg, who was previously a senior manager at Platinum Rye Entertainment and with Rolling Stone, will be based in CAA’s New York digs.

During his stint at Platinum Rye, he led the company’s New York music partnerships division, brokering multi-service deals for such top brands such as Mercedes-Benz, Vita Coco, Wix.com and GE Healthcare. He also served as a talent buyer for numerous corporate and private events, servicing brands such as Verizon, WeWork and the Fontainebleau Hotel in Miami Beach.

Prior to joining Platinum Rye Entertainment, Aussenberg spent more than two years at Rolling Stone as a senior project manager in the publication’s advertising department where he oversaw branded content negotiations, talent buying and event production. Before that, he worked as a manager at 10th Street Entertainment, where beyond management duties, he focused on creating marketing programs for a roster of multi-platinum artists.
