Dion wasn’t content to simply spectate in the stands with her sons while cheering on the team. The Canadian songstress decided to crank up the fun dial to an 11, and started air-guitaring to Bon Jovi like she owned the place, giving fans a glimpse of her carefree side. It was a little reminder that Dion is more than just a vocal legend; she’s a full-on vibe.

That wasn’t the only fun Dion had, though. The singer also had the privilege of going down the the Bruins locker room to read off the starting lineup and give the players a bit of a pep talk. “Thank you so much for getting ready for me tonight,” she says in a mock serious tone, pointing to a player who has yet to put his jersey on.

She then continued to read of the starting lineup, wrapping up her locker room speech with, “You better fight, you better mean it,” as the team erupts in cheers in a video posted by the Bruins on X, formerly known as Twitter.

For fans and followers of Dion, seeing her in such high spirits is a breath of fresh air, especially considering the challenges she’s faced in recent times. The “My Heart Will Go On” singer has been battling stiff person syndrome, a rare and often debilitating neurological disorder, which has led to the cancellation of numerous performances and public appearances.

“As many of you know, in the fall of 2022, I was diagnosed with Stiff Person Syndrome (SPS),” Dion captioned a photo of herself and her three sons on SPS Awareness Day, March 16. “Trying to overcome this autoimmune disorder has been one of the hardest experiences of my life, but I remain determined to one day get back onto the stage and to live as normal of a life as possible.”

In the wake of her health challenges, it’s so great seeing Dion embracing life with such vigor and happiness. Here’s to many more moments of joy for Dion and her family, both on and off the ice.
