Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg has a higher name recognition and favorability rating than most other Biden Cabinet members, according to a new poll.

The survey, conducted by Morning Consult and Politico, found that 83 percent of registered voters know who Buttigieg is, and 38 percent have a favorable view of the secretary.

The poll also sought to measure name recognition and favorability for Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm, Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, chief of staff Ron Klain, Secretary of State Antony Blinken, Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen, Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin, Attorney General Merrick Garland, Interior Secretary Deb Haaland, Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo, Health and Human Services Secretary Xavier Becerra and Housing and Urban Development Secretary Marcia Fudge.

The poll numbers come amid speculation regarding if Buttigieg, the 39-year-old former mayor of South Bend, Ind., will wage another bid for the White House in the next cycle.

CNN published a report that outlined frustrations the Vice President Harris's team and White House officials reportedly have about her role in the administration.

White House aides, however, have since heaped praise on Harris, underscoring her role as a partner and leader in the administration.

Buttigieg on Sunday dismissed suggestions that there is a rivalry between him and Harris, contending that they are too busy working to achieve the administration's goals to bicker with one another.

Yellen had the second highest name recognition and favorability among the Cabinet members in the poll, recording a 77 percent and 33 percent score, respectively.

Raimondo had the lowest name recognition among the Cabinet secretaries polled. Just 66 percent of respondents said that they know who she is. She was also tied with Fudge for having the lowest favorability rating at 24 percent.

The poll also surveyed name recognition and favorability for White House press secretary Jen Psaki. Eighty-one percent of respondents said they knew who she was, and 34 percent had a favorable view of her.

The poll surveyed 1,999 registered voters between Nov. 20 and Nov. 21. The margin of error is plus or minus 2 percentage points.
