A new match is set for WWE NXT No Mercy.

On the September 26 episode of WWE NXT, Butch faced Joe Coffey in the NXT Global Heritage Invitational. Butch won Group A by defeating Tyler Bate on the September 19 episode of WWE NXT, while Coffey beat Nathan Frazer and Duke Hudson in a tiebreaker match.

The two former NXT UK stars battled it out. Some interference from Wolfgang gave Coffey a brief advantage, but Butch persevered. He dove onto Wolfgang and Mark Coffey at ringside. The referee then ejected the duo from ringside. Coffey took control, but Butch planted him with a DDT on the apron. They traded blows, and the exchange left both men down. Coffey scored a two count with a lariat.

The momentum tipped when Coffey charged Butch, and the latter sent him into the steel steps. Butch then hit the Bitter End for the win. As a result, he will challenge Noam Dar for the NXT Heritage Cup at NXT No Mercy.
