Busta Rhymes hit the stage for the Tuesday (Dec. 5) episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, and he brought a few very special guests to help him deliver the memorable rendition. The 51-year-old legend performed some favorites off his most recent album, BLOCKBUSTA, and was joined by three of his children CIE, Trillian, and RAI.

The 12-time GRAMMY nominee opened the event by performing the first verse of the LP’s opening track, “STATEMENT,” before the transitioning into “LEGACY” where he welcomed his kids on stage. The latter track was a fitting choice, as it honors their strong family bond.

“I pull up with my family, steppin’ inside with all of ’em/ Became this indescribable human you see because of ’em/ Being a father to my kids is my greatest reward to them/ The crown-holders is present, you know the answers,” the proud dad rapped. CIE held down the hook with her smooth vocals, while Trillian and RAI gave a taste of their inherited rapping skills.

The ending showed each family member beaming from ear to ear and embracing one another as RAI yelled into the mic, “Smith legacy, baby!”

BLOCKBUSTA made landfall on Nov. 24, 2023, and went on to break into the top 10 on the Billboard Top R&B/Hip Hop Albums chart, making it his 10th top 10 album. The project was executive produced alongside his fellow legendary heavyweights Pharrell Williams, Timbaland, and Swizz Beatz. BLOCKBUSTA also boasted a diverse roster of guest appearances including Quavo, BIA, Young Thug, Burna Boy, JNR CHOI, Shenseea, Morray, Giggs, and more.

To continue the celebration, the “Break Ya Neck” artist is hitting the road next year for one of his most expansive treks yet. Last week, he announced his BLOCKBUSTA Tour in support of the album.

Produced by The Conglomerate Entertainment and Live Nation, 24-stop tour kicks off on March 13 at The Masonic in San Francisco. It will roll through major markets like Houston, Miami, Toronto, Nashville, and more before concluding on April 21 with a homecoming show in Brooklyn.

Tickets are now on sale on LiveNation.com. Fans also have the option to select different VIP packages, which include bonuses like photo ops, autographed items, early entry, and more.
