Liv Tyler is one chic mama!

On Tuesday, the actress made her first red carpet appearance since giving birth to daughter Lula Rose in July, appearing at the House of Dior in London to celebrate her friend Lucie de la Falaise‘s collaboration with Dior Maison.

Tyler, 39, stunned in an all-black suit, complete with a double-breasted jacket and pointed-toe matching pumps.

Letting her hair hang naturally over her shoulders, she posed for photos alone and with longtime pal Kate Moss, 42, who was also there to celebrate their friend de la Falasie.

Tyler isn’t new to the fashion game. Aside from being an actress and model, the daughter of Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler recently designed for British heritage brand Belstaff to bring the Belstaff X Liv Tyler Winter 2016 Collection to life.

“It’s been so fun and very different from anything I have done before,” Tyler told PEOPLE in August of the collection, which launched that month. “I was excited about creating great coats. Being a New Yorker, it’s so cold we all wear puffer coats, so I wanted to create a few looks like that with pieces like blouses, pants and boots that were super simple and classic.”

The newly minted fashion designer’s appearance at House of Dior is no surprise, either, considering where she got a lot of her inspiration.

“The people that influenced me the most as a kid were my mother, my grandmother, my girlfriends Lucie de la Falaise and Kate Moss,” said The Leftovers star. “Those were people I learned the basics from, like how to put a good red lip on!”

And though being a mom to a newborn — plus sons Sailor Gene, 19 months, and Milo, 11, along with fiancé David Gardner‘s 9-year-old son Gray — is the actress’ biggest priority in life, she admitted she was ready to get back into her usual attire.

“I’ve been pregnant for two years straight!” she said. “I just can’t wait to wear jeans again! Just to be able to throw on a pair of skinny jeans, a great flat, a beautiful sweater and coat and run out of the door.”
