Buscabulla Announce Debut Album and Tour, Share New “NTE” Video: Watch

Buscabulla have announced their debut album. Regresa—which means “return” or “to come back” in Spanish—arrives May 8 via Ribbon Music. The duo of Raquel Berrios and Luis Alfredo Del Valle have also shared a 16mm-shot video for new single “NTE” (aka “No Te Equivoques” or “Don’t Get It Wrong”), directed by Chris Gregory-Rivera and filmed on the Aguadilla waterfront in Puerto Rico. Watch below (via The FADER).

Regresa, which includes last year’s “Vámono,” was recorded at Buscabulla’s home studio in Puerto Rico, with additional production and mixing from Patrick Wimberly (formerly of Chairlift). Helado Negro also contributed an orchestral arrangement to the song “Club Tú y Yo.” In a statement, Berrios said, “Regresa is about self-acceptance of oneself with all our imperfections, and the acceptance of being back in Puerto Rico, with all its flaws.”

Buscabulla’s last release was the II EP in 2017. The band is heading out on its first North American tour in July following dates in Europe. Check out the posters below. Get tickets here. (Pitchfork may earn a commission from purchases made through affiliate links on our site.)
