Burn Book reveals 'hairy nips' and more in the new “Mean Girls ”movie musical trailer

It's enough to make Principal Duvall say, "Good lord."

No one escapes the Burn Book unscathed in the final Mean Girls movie musical trailer.

The infamous text, which was created by the popular clique the Plastics to vent their worst thoughts about their fellow North Shore High School classmates, finds itself in the hands of Principal Duvall (Tim Meadows) in the latest clip for the new film, which is a blend of the original 2004 teen comedy and the 2018 Broadway production.

“Rachel Hamilton fills her inhaler with vodka?” he asks as head Plastic Regina George (Reneé Rapp) can be seen writing in the book. Later, he discovers that another student “has… what’s this?”

"Hairy nips,” an emotional Regina interjects. The headmaster then groans, “Good lord.”

The trailer also sees new girl Cady (Angourie Rice) and her pals Damian (Jaquel Spivey) and Janis (Auli'i Cravalho) concoct a plan to take down Regina George once and for all.

Plus, Jon Hamm's Coach Carr warns students about hormones that make girls become "deranged," while Regina's mom (Busy Phillips) graciously offers to help her daughter and her friends with “boy troubles, blackheads, alcohol poisoning — I have been through it all."

And, from the looks of it, the principal won’t be the only person who gets their hands on the book either, as another clip reveals more students reading through it and taking photos that will likely end up online. After all, as Cravalho recently told EW about the new film, “we have the Burn Book and we have social media.”

Adapted from Rosalind Wiseman's 2002 book Queen Bees and Wannabes, the original Mean Girls followed Cady (played by Lindsay Lohan) as she got swept up in the trials and tribulations of her new high school’s social pyramid after moving to Illinois from Africa.

Mean Girls hits theaters Jan. 12. Watch the trailer above.
