Burlington Police seek gunman in Saturday morning shooting

A 44-year-old man was shot early Saturday, July 30 in the 700 block of Ross Street, according to Burlington Police.

Police and Alamance County EMS were called to the scene of the shooting at 5:57 a.m. where they found the victim with a gunshot wound to the leg. Investigators learned he had been in an altercation with an unknown man just before the shooting.

EMS took the victim to a trauma center where he was reported to be in stable condition.
