Burger King is adding something sweet to its classic burger along with hints for new menu items to come next week.

Rumors about the Candied Bacon Whopper were first reported by food blogger Markie Devo on Jan. 25. Burger King has since confirmed that the burger would be coming to restaurants nationwide on Monday, Jan. 29.

Burger King still has not made an official announcement for the Candied Bacon Whopper. However, the franchise has been hinting at something new coming to the menu with posts on X saying, "get ur flame-grilled ideas cooking… something big is coming 02.05.24" and "something BIG is about to touch down at BK…"

What is on the new Burger King Whopper?

The Candied Bacon Whopper features the classic flame-grilled beef patty, with juicy tomatoes, and crisp lettuce, taken up a notch with crispy onions, creamy garlic aioli, bacon jam, and the best part - candied bacon, served on a sesame seed bun.

There is no indication as to whether the item will be a single item only or come in a combo meal.

How long will the new Burger King burger be available?

Burger King has said that the promotion, available in stores nationwide, will continue while supplies last. There is also another announcement set to happen on Feb. 5 from the franchise.
