Buffy the Vampire Slayer fans have Sarah Michelle Gellar’s daughter to thank for the latest mini-reunion between the cast.

Over the weekend, Gellar, 46, reunited with former costars Seth Green and Emma Caulfield while attending an Ed Sheeran concert all in the name of her daughter Charlotte’s birthday party. (The actress shares daughter Charlotte, 14, and son Rocky, 11, with husband Freddie Prinze Jr.)

Gellar posted a few snaps on Instagram of the Buffy stars together at SoFi Stadium.

“My daughter wanted her 14 bday party to be at @teddysphotos concert at @sofistadium,” she captioned the photo collection. “Her guest list may not have been what you expected (also swipe to last pic to see how to make a concert tee a great dress) Also I really love these people.”

Caulfield commented, “The best night. Love everyone so hard. ❤️❤️❤️”

Meanwhile, on her own page, she shared a photo of the three with Sheeran and wrote, referencing their former characters, “A slayer, a demon, a werewolf and a bard walked into a bar…” The trio even sported matching friendship bracelets featuring those same references.

Gellar played Buffy Summers, a teenage vampire slayer, on the ‘90s supernatural thriller. Green, 49, appeared as Oz, a werewolf Willows' (Alyson Hannigan) eventual boyfriend. Additionally, Caulfield, 50, played Anya Jenkins, who was once a vengeance demon before becoming human.

Buffy the Vampire Slayer ran from 1997 to 2003 for seven seasons. Though fans of the ‘90s series are living in the golden age of reboots, it doesn’t sound like Buffy will be taking on any more vampires in years to come.

Gellar previously shut down rumors of a formal reunion, telling SFX Magazine in January, “I am very proud of the show that we created and it doesn’t need to be done. We wrapped that up.”

The Grudge star said she’d be happy to see the story continue with other actors, but it won’t be her face as the teenage vampire slayer. “The metaphors of ‘Buffy’ were the horrors of adolescence,” she added. “I think I look young, but I am not an adolescent.”
