Buddy Valastro's Daughter Sofia Is 16! See Everything from Her Extravagant Birthday Party
They grow up so fast!
Cake Boss star Buddy Valastro‘s daughter Sofia turned 16 on Tuesday and to celebrate, her parents hosted an extravagant sweet sixteen party on April 12 that was straight out of a fairytale.
“I’ll never forget the moment you were born and I looked at you and I just cried,” Valastro said in his speech during the event, which was captured in the video above by Ethereal Media. “Don’t ever change. I wish you all the happiness, luck and everything the world has to offer. Mommy and Daddy will always be here for you. We’re so proud of you in this moment. I love you my little bear.”
The party at Pleasantdale Chateau in West Orange, N.J. was attended by 400 guests including the “entire Cake Boss famiglia” and Real Housewives of New Jersey star Joe Gorga and his children, Buddy tells PEOPLE exclusively.
Sofia wore a beaded princess gown for the occasion and designed her own magical birthday cake. Every tier of the eight-tier confection created by Buddy was made up of a different flavor cake: chocolate cake with Oreo french cream; rainbow with American buttercream; vanilla with french cream and fresh strawberries; confetti cake with American buttercream; Italian sponge cake with cannoli filling; red velvet cake with cream cheese frosting; chocolate cake with chocolate mousse, chocolate ganache and fresh raspberries; and carrot cake with salted caramel and cream cheese frosting.

Other desserts included shopping carts full of Sofia’s favorite candies and different stations with Carlo’s Bakery desserts like mini cannolis and pink-frosted cupcakes with edible glitter. Guests could also choose to frost themselves with jewelry handed out by servers covered in balloons.
Event planner Lawrence Scott brought Sofia and her mom Lisa’s vision to life with tall pink and white rose centerpieces, floral table clothes, and “blinged out chairs.”
The birthday girl and her dad danced to “Butterfly Kisses” by Bob Carlisle before closing out the night by singing their “go-to karaoke jam” of Journey’s “Don’t Stop Believin’.”

“No matter how big she gets,” Buddy wrote on Instagram, “she will always be my little girl.”
