The first Buddy Games: Spring Awakening trailer is here, previewing a group of friends heading back on spring break in the upcoming adventure comedy film.
The upcoming movie stars Dan Bakkedahl, Kevin Dillon, Josh Duhamel, James Roday Rodriguez, Nick Swardson, Lochlyn Munro, with Ginnifer Goodwin and Jensen Ackles in a star-studded cast. The sequel to Buddy Games is directed by Duhamel from a script written by Gabe McKinley and Rachael Thoele.

“Faced with their biggest challenge yet, the gang sets out to honor a lost friend only to find themselves in the middle of where it all began – Spring Break – where they learn their old school ways of partying hardly compete with today’s generation,” reads the official synopsis for the sequel.
The original Buddy Games was Duhamel’s directorial debut. The Transformers actor starred in the lead role as a man that runs a crazy obstacle course with his friends each year. The cast was rounded out by Olivia Munn, James Roday Rodriguez, Kevin Dillon, Dax Shepard, and Nick Swardson.
Buddy Games: Spring Awakening is set to release in select theaters on May 19, 2023, and will release on digital storefronts on June 2, 2023.
