BUCHANAN — The exhibits “Alternative Grid” and “Visions From the Heart” continue through Sept. 17 at  the Roti Roti Art Center of Buchanan, 117 W. Front St.

In “Alternative Grid,” Jennifer Zona deviates from traditional weaving methods and creates an installation that invites the viewer to explore the joyful environment she has set out to create.

In her awareness of and concern for the environment, Zona chooses to work with wool and other sustainable materials that would most likely have been discarded.

Her bright, colorful, sculptural wall hangings of intersecting lines, shapes and colors are meant to create a safe and playful space.

Each one of Elizabeth Kuntz’s drawings in “Visions From the Heart” is a visual interpretation of a specific emotion, inspired by passages from her teacher’s book, the soon-to-be released “Our Radiant Heart and the Medicine Wheel” by Vasilios Firippis, a Master of Tai Chi, Qigong and meditation.

This series of pastel drawings reflects the emotions that unfold from the heart and represents a journey of personal and spiritual growth.

Kuntz is an intuitive fine artist, graphic designer, and senior advanced instructor of Tai Chi and Qigong. After living in Nicosia, Cyprus, for 22 years, she returned to her hometown of South Bend in 2019.

Gallery hours are noon to 6 p.m. Wednesdays through Fridays and noon to 4 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays.
