BTS leader RM is gearing up for his comeback album, Right Place, Wrong Person. Before the album’s much-awaited drop, the singer shared the single “Come Back to Me.”

RM, aka Kim Namjoon, officially debuted with Indigo on December 2, 2022. The album ranked number three on the US Billboard 200, first on the Billboard’s World Albums Chart, and number two on South Korea’s Circle Album Chart. It also made it to several Best K-pop Albums lists by various publications, including Billboard and Genius Korea.

Two years after his official debut, the BTS rapper will return to the music scene with a new album, Right Place, Wrong Person. It will launch on May 24 at 1 p.m. KST, 12 a.m. ET, 5 a.m. BST, and 6 a.m. CET. The physical album will be available in three versions.

BTS RM tops iTunes across the globe with ‘Come Back To Me’

RM‘s new song “Come Back To Me” was released on May 10, 2024, at 1 p.m. KST, 12 a.m. ET, 5 a.m. BST, and 6 a.m. CET. The single made BTS ARMY emotional, reminding them of Namjoon’s “Persona” era, leading to its phenomenal digital success. According to reports, “Come Back To Me” was No. 1 on iTunes Top Songs charts in 82 different regions, including Germany, France, Japan, and Brazil.

The lyrics of the track also struck a chord with fans when RM sang, “Spring’s always been here / I will sleep in her eyes / I see you come back to me, I see you come back to me / You are my pain divine, you are my pain divine.”

BTS fans are also speculating that Suga can be one of the featured artists in RM’s upcoming album. In the album Indigo, BTS RM invited artists from outside his group, so fans believe his forthcoming album may feature members of Bangtan Boys.

While Indigo documented RM’s fleeting twenties, the “Mono” crooner hinted that his next project would be on a lighter subject. In a post-Indigo release interview, he explained, “I’m trying to create something much lighter and more playful. Indigo was a serious endeavor that I contemplated for four years. It carried a special weight, because it was meant to showcase me as an artist to the world for the first time. My plan is to release something more easy-going next. It will most likely be a single or an EP.”

As Indigo has established high expectations, fans look forward to his next album, which could be another RM masterpiece.
