BTS Members RM, Jimin, V & Jungkook Apply for Military Enlistment, BIGHIT MUSIC Confirms

South Korean boy band BTS’ agency, BIGHIT MUSIC, has recently made an announcement stating that the remaining four members of the K-pop group, including RM (Kim Namjoon), Jimin, V (aka Kim Taehyung), and Jungkook have begun the process of their military enlistment. BIGHIT confirmed the news with an official statement on Weverse this Wednesday, November 22, 2023.

The four artists will soon start their journey to fulfil the duties of their mandatory military service. Jimin, Jungkook, V, and leader RM are the final members of the original seven-member boy group to enlist, following Jin, J-Hope, and Suga. The South Korean music agency has requested BTS’ fans, ARMYs, to continue their love and support for the group until they safely return from their military service.

RM, Jimin, V & Jungkook initiate military enlistment process

After BTS members J-Hope, Jin, and Suga enlisted in the South Korean military service, their fans have been preparing themselves for the enlistment news of the remaining four members. On November 22, 2023, BIGHIT MUSIC finally released an official statement about V, Jungkook, Jimin, and RM’s initiation for military enlistment.

Officially released on Weverse, the statement reads, “Hello. This is BIGHIT MUSIC. We would like to inform our fans that RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook have initiated the military enlistment process. The artists are preparing to fulfill their military service duties.”

It further states, “We will inform you of further updates in due course. We ask you for your continued love and support for RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook until they complete their military service and safely return. Our company will spare no effort in providing support for our artists. Thank you.”

BTS military enlistment dates

Jin was the first member of BTS to enlist for the military service. He enlisted on December 13, 2022. J-Hope was the second member to join the service. His enlistment date was April 18, 2023. The third member to join the military service duty was Suga, who enlisted on September 22, 2023.

The enlistment dates for the other four members of BTS, Jungkook, RM, V, and Jimin are yet to be disclosed by BIGHIT MUSIC.
