Bryan Danielson, Ricky Starks, And More Added To 12/21 AEW Dynamite

All Elite Wrestling continues to load up the card for the December 21 episode of AEW Dynamite.

The broadcast team announced several segments for the “Holiday Bash” edition of the show during the December 16 episode of AEW Rampage. First, Bryan Danielson is set to speak after he confronted AEW World Championship MJF on Wednesday night. Danielson had been absent since MJF took out William Regal on the November 30 episode of AEW Dynamite, and now it’s clear that he has his sights set on the champion. MJF successfully defended his title against Ricky Starks on the December 14 episode of Dynamite.

Speaking of Starks, the former FTW Champion will appear live on Wednesday’s show. Additionally, former Swerve in Our Glory teammates Swerve Strickland and Keith Lee will meet face-to-face. The dup previously won the AEW World Tag Team Champions, but the tension between them has been brewing for a number of weeks. Lee walked out on Strickland during their match against The Acclaimed at AEW Full Gear, and Swerve abandoned Lee during their bout against Keith Lee and JD Griffey at ROH Final Battle.

The updated card is as follows:

• Match Five in Best-Of-Seven Series: (No Disqualification): Death Triangle (PAC, Rey Fenix, Penta El Zero Miedo) (3-1) vs. The Elite (Kenny Omega & The Young Bucks) (1-3)

• AEW Women’s World Championship: Jamie Hayter (c) vs. Hikaru Shida

• FTR (Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler) vs. The Gunns (Austin & Colten Gunn)

• Ricky Starks appears

• Keith Lee and Swerve Strickland have a face-to-face meeting

• Bryan Danielson speaks
