Cranston Knows What We Want
Bryan Cranston, who portrayed meth dealer Walter White in "Breaking Bad" to stunning effect, has shared a video of what it takes to transform into the fictional character from "Breaking Bad."
The video is sped up and only lasts less than a minute, but it covers his entire transformation, from the shading on his fake bald head to his bushy mustache.
Going Through Some Things
Joining Cranston on this quest is Department Head of Make Up and Special Makeup Fx Cheri Montesanto, Garrett Immel, who Cranston calls “Prosthetic Make Up Artist for Bald Cap,” and key make-up artist Laverne Munroe.
The whole time, Cranston, 63, is sitting in the seat, reading what looks like a script, and smiling and talking with the phalanx of makeup artists.
"I don’t know why filming takes so long, I became Walter White in less than a minute," Cranston tweeted.
Cranston's post has gotten 1 million likes on Instagram and about 2 million Twitter views and counting, which is a testament to Cranston's excellent job playing White and to the everlasting popularity of "Breaking Bad."
“Why dont u just stay with that look in real life suits u really well,” said one person on social media.
Maybe he will one day, maybe he will.
