Bruno Mars is gearing up for the tail end of his 24K Magic World Tour. Nearly one month before the show kickstarts, Bruno announced on Tuesday (Aug. 14), that Ciara has been added to the roster as an opening act.

The singer announced the exciting news in a video message on Instagram. “I was trying really hard to make a cool tour poster once we got confirmation on who’s joining us on the finale of The 24K Magic Tour,” he wrote. “But in my excitement I forgot I suck at arts and crafts. Swipe left for the official announcement…” In a butchered PhotoShop video post, he revealed Ciara was the surprise guest.

Following the initial announcement, it was revealed that Ella Mai and Charlie Wilson were also added to the lineup.

Cici is reportedly replacing Cardi B, who was originally tapped to open for Mars. The rapper announced in July 2018, that she was pulling out of the tour schedule due to the recent birth of her daughter Kulture. “I thought that after giving birth to my daughter that 6 weeks would be enough time for me to recover mentally and physically,” the new mom said at the time. “I also thought I’d be able to bring her with me on tour, but I think I underestimated the whole mommy thing.”

Despite fans’ disappointment, Ciara will probably make a great addition to the team. The singer has found success with her recent single “Level Up” and recently dropped a dance video for “Freak Me,” featuring Tekno.

The 24K Magic World Tour kicks off on Sept. 7, in Denver. Check out the announcement below.
