A brunch and breakfast restaurant from the owners of Fate Brewing is coming to Scottsdale

A new breakfast and brunch restaurant is coming to Scottsdale. The Clayton Companies, whose hospitality properties include Clayton House and Fate Brewing Co, will open The Eleanor at the corner of Hayden Road and Earl Drive on Sept. 4 in the space formerly occupied by a dry cleaner. The shopping plaza is also home to The Local Donut and Roadrunner Lounge.

The light sage, cream and white color scheme imparts a calming sense, while large windows and the use of wicker and wood keep the 3,678 square-foot space light and bright. Including the 1,523 square-foot patio and 462 square-foot bar, the new restaurant will have a 206-person capacity.

What's on the menu at The Eleanor

The menu focuses on breakfast and brunch items, which are divided into multiple sections.

  • The bakery section includes cinnamon rolls, coffee cake and bagels.

  • Sweet treats include blueberry pancakes and French toast.

  • Classics section features biscuits and gravy and chilaquiles.

  • Lighter side section has avocado toast and a veggie omelette.

  • From the market section includes a papas and chorizo burrito.

  • Between the bread is a section of sandwiches like turkey and swiss.

  • Greens and sides are exactly what they sound like.

For beverages, The Eleanor will offer drip coffee, lattes, AM booze options including a mimosa flight and craft cocktails like the el blanco made with white wine, citrus vodka and peach liquor.

Prices range between $3 and $6 for baked goods and $13 to $16 for mains. Alcoholic beverages are from $7 to $14.
