Bruna Papandrea’s Made Up Stories, the film and TV production company behind “Big Little Lies” and “Nine Perfect Strangers,” among others, is expanding its presence to open a new U.K. office, and it’s tapped “Ticket to Paradise” producer Sarah Harvey to lead the office.

Harvey, who officially joined Made Up Stories in August, will lead the new London location and add to the company’s presence in both Los Angeles and Sydney, Australia.

Harvey is a British producer with over 20 years of experience, and she just produced “Ticket to Paradise” with George Clooney and Julia Roberts for Universal and “Strangers,” the next film from Andrew Haigh that stars Andrew Scott, Paul Mescal, Claire Foy and Jamie Bell for Searchlight. Some of her other credits include co-producing work on “The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel” and “In Bruges.”

“I’ve long admired Bruna’s tenacity and stellar storytelling instincts and I’m thrilled to have joined the incredibly talented Made Up Stories Team,” Harvey said in a statement.

Added Papandrea on behalf of Made Up Stories, “As we build Made Up Stories globally the most important thing remains collaborating with great people who not only excel creatively but are true leaders. Sarah and I have a long history and have always been so aligned on the aspirations we have for the ambitious stories we want to tell and the people we want to work with. We couldn’t be more excited for Sarah to join our already brilliant team.”

Made Up Stories’ latest U.K. production “Anatomy of a Scandal” with Sienna Miller and Michelle Dockery spent five weeks on Netflix’s Top 10 list across 80 countries. Some of their other upcoming projects include the second season of “Wolf Like Me,” “The Lost Flowers of Alice Hart” with Sigourney Weaver for Amazon and their first unscripted series, “Undressed,” for Paramount+. On the film end, Made Up Stories is currently in production on “Force of Nature,” a follow-up to the film “The Dry” starring Eric Bana, and “Luckiest Girl Alive,” also for Netflix and starring Mila Kunis.
