Bruins are priority adds in fantasy hockey
The Boston Bruins are off to a ridiculous start to the 2019-20 season, and much of that success is due to the phenomenal play of their top trio of David Pastrnak, Patrice Bergeron and Brad Marchand. Those three have contributed on 33 of the club’s 49 goals for so far.
Regardless of how good the ‘Perfection Line’ has been and how talented each individual is, there’s no way the electric combo can continue this kind of play each night. That means the team is going to need some secondary members to step up.
David Krejci battled a pair of injuries to start the season, but the forward now appears to be somewhere close to full health. He’s notched four points in his last three games. Owned in just 20% of Yahoo fantasy hockey leagues, you should add the veteran centre in your league. Last year, Krejci scored 20 goals and finished with 73 points. Not much has changed in this Boston offense, so he should finish the season with a similar scoring pace.
Additionally, the man playing on his wing, Jake DeBrusk, is starting to heat up. The 23-year-old has now scored goals in back-to-back games and has secured himself a spot on the Bruins’ top power play, which, as we know, is a profitable unit for fantasy hockey.
