He wore it well.

Bruce Springsteen snatched a “Bruuuce” tiara off the head of a Jersey girl and put it on his head during the E Street Band's show on Saturday, Aug. 26, at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts.

The Boss was performing “Out in the Street.”

“I was pointing to it and saying “Bruuuce'!” said Caroline Madden, a Toms River native who was in the general admission pit for Saturday‘s show. “Then he reached out for it and then I give it to him. It was really funny. I just wanted him to see it. I didn't think …!”

The Boss wore it during a chorus of “Out in the Street” and showed band member Jake Clemons his new headgear.

“He looked good,” Madden said. “I was laughing the whole time.”

Springsteen handed the tiara back soon afterward.

Fan “Concert Chick” caught the scene on video and posted it on YouTube. Madden shared it on her social media.

Springsteen fans may be familiar with Madden. She's a writer who authored the critically acclaimed book “Springsteen as Soundtrack: The Sound of the Boss in Film and Television.”

Madden, who bought the tiara on Etsy, enjoyed her whole night at the show.

“I really liked the 'Lonesome Day' opening. I never heard that as an opener, and I liked it,” Madden said. “It was a really good way to get the crowd going. 'Seven Nights to Rock,' I was not expecting at all. I think that was the perfect summer song.”

Up next for Springsteen and the E Street Band are three New Jersey homecoming shows scheduled for Wednesday, Aug. 30; Friday, Sept. 1; and Sunday, Sept. 3, at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford.

Madden is going to the Sept. 1 show, but she probably won’t be wearing her tiara.

“I'll be in the nosebleeds,” she quipped.
