Bruce Springsteen Releases Archival Live Album for Hurricane Relief

Proceeds from the live record will benefit MusiCares’ fund

Bruce Springsteen has released a live archival album of his 1978 show at Houston’s Summit with the E Street Band. Proceeds from the record will benefit MusiCares’ hurricane relief fund. Footage of the show originally appeared as part of The Promise: Darkness on the Edge of Town box set in 2010, but this marks its first audio-only release. It arrives in both digital and physical formats, with CDs set to ship out on October 9. Find the record here. Springsteen is currently preparing for a new Broadway residency that debuts in October.
