Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band are postponing all of their 2023 tour dates to next year as The Boss recovers from peptic ulcer disease.

The icon made the announcement Wednesday on social media. “Thanks to all my friends and fans for your good wishes, encouragement and support. I’m on the mend and can’t wait to see you all next year,” he wrote.

Springsteen, 74, has spent the past few weeks recovering from peptic ulcer disease, and his doctor has advised him to continue treatment for the remainder of the year.

Rescheduled dates for each of the 2023 shows will be announced next week. All of the shows will take place at their originally scheduled venues. Fans who cannot attend the new dates will have 30 days to request a refund if purchased through official ticketing companies.

Earlier this month, Springsteen postponed all of his September performances as he underwent treatment for the condition, and he said he was talking the rest of the month to focus on his health.

“Over here on E Street, we’re heartbroken to have to postpone these shows,” Springsteen said in a statement at the time. “First, apologies to our fabulous Philly fans who we missed a few weeks ago. We’ll be back to pick these shows up and then some. Thank you for your understanding and support. We’ve been having a blast at our U.S. shows, and we’re looking forward to more great times. We’ll be back soon.”

That announcement came weeks after the singer canceled two concerts in Philadelphia due to an undisclosed illness. Springsteen and the E Street Band kicked off their 2023 tour in February and have made stops across North America and Europe.
