Bruce Springsteen postpones rest of tour to 2024 for health reasons

It took a few weeks before local fans of Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band learned the band's two August concerts scheduled in Philadelphia were postponed until summer 2024.
Now Springsteen's fans who bought tickets to see the band this fall will have to wait until 2024, as the remainder of the tour through December has been postponed, according to an Instagram post The Boss made on his account Wednesday, Sept. 27.
Why did Springsteen postpone his 2023 tour?
The tour was put on ice so the Boss can continue to undergo treatment for health issues.
"Bruce Springsteen has continued to recover steadily from peptic ulcer disease over the past few weeks and will continue treatment through the rest of the year on doctor's advice," the Instagram post read.
"With this in mind, and out of an abundance of caution, all remaining 2023 tour dates for Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band will be postponed until 2024,'' it continued.
When will Springsteen shows be rescheduled?
Fans won't have long to wait to find out when the newly postponed shows will be rescheduled.
"Rescheduled dates for each of the 2023 shows, including those postponed earlier this month, will be announced next week, all taking place at their originally scheduled venues.'' the post read.
"When the new 2024 dates are announced, those unable to attend on the new date who purchased their tickets through official ticketing companies have 30 days to request a refund. All tickets for postponed performances will remain valid for the newly announced dates."
For Philly fans, tickets for the Wednesday, Aug. 16, 2023, show are good for the Wednesday, Aug. 21, 2024, concert; and tickets for the Friday, Aug. 18, 2023, show will be valid for the Friday, Aug. 23, 2024, show, according to Phillies.com/Springsteen.
