New Jersey native Bruce Springsteen keeps crashing others artists’ concerts in his home state. The Boss’ latest victim was Paul McCartney, who welcomed the fellow music legend to the stage during a show at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey on Thursday.

McCartney introduced Springsteen’s appearance as a “birthday present to myself” (the former Beatle turns 80 years old this weekend). Springsteen proceeded to wish Macca “80 more years of glory days” before playing the classic Born in the U.S.A. anthem. The two then teamed up to perform The Beatles’ “I Wanna Be Your Man.” Springsteen, along with Jon Bon Jovi, later returned at the end of the show to join McCartney for “The End.” Watch the on-stage collaboration go down below.

Earlier this month, Springsteen crashed Coldplay’s concert at MetLife Stadium to perform “Working on a Dream” and “Dancing in the Dark.” Next year, Bruce and the E Street Band will head over to Europe for some shows of their own. A North American run of shows is also expected to be announced shortly.

Meanwhile, tonight’s show marked the final US date of McCartney’s “Got Back Tour” — revisit our recap of the tour’s kickoff show in Spokane here. Next weekend, he’ll return to the UK to headline Glastonbury.
