Bruce Springsteen headed back to Broadway for a limited run of 'Springsteen on Broadway'

The Boss is headed back to Broadway.
Bruce Springsteen will return to Broadway this summer for a limited run of "Springsteen on Broadway." Shows at Jujamcyn's St. James Theatre begin on Saturday, June 26, with additional performances taking place through Sept. 4.
Tickets for "Springsteen on Broadway" will go on sale at noon Thursday, June 10, via SeatGeek.com.
“I loved doing Springsteen on Broadway and I’m thrilled to have been asked to reprise the show as part of the reopening of Broadway,” Springsteen said in a statement.
Proceeds from opening night of "Springsteen on Broadway" at the St. James will be donated to a group of local New York and New Jersey charities, including the Boys and Girls Club of Monmouth County, Broadway Cares/Equity Fights Aids, Community FoodBank of New Jersey, Food Bank for New York City, Fulfill (Monmouth & Ocean Counties Foodbank), Long Island Cares, NJ Pandemic Relief Fund and The Actor’s Fund.

Springsteen and the E Street Band released the hit album "Letter to You" in October, which featured an accompanying film, "Bruce Springsteen's Letter to You" by Thom Zimny. The band played the album's “Ghosts” and “I’ll See You in My Dreams” live on the Dec. 12 broadcast of “Saturday Night Live.”
Springsteen also appeared in the short-film commercial called “The Middle” for Jeep, which aired during the Super Bowl on Sunday, Feb. 7. The featurette, which features original music, was the handiwork of Springsteen, filmmaker Zimny and music producer Ron Aniello in collaboration with Jeep.
Springsteen also starred on the radio with his own SiriusXM deejay show “From My Home To Yours” on E Street Radio. The show is ongoing on alternate Wednesdays.
The Boss was also in the news for a DWI charge on Sandy Hook in November, which surfaced in February. The DWI charge was dismissed.
