The Boss & Co. won't make it to the office tonight in Columbus, Ohio.

Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band's concert Thursday at the Nationwide Arena was postponed "due to illness."

The illness, and the band member afflicted, was not disclosed.

“Due to illness, tonight's Bruce (Springsteen) and The E Street Band concert at Nationwide Arena has been postponed,” Nationwide Arena posted Thursday on social media. “We are working on rescheduling the date so please hold on to your tickets as they will be valid for the rescheduled show.”

Multiple members of the band have missed shows in the current tour due to COVID, including Steven Van Zandt, Nils Lofgren, Jake Clemons and Soozie Tyrell. The variant of COVID that's been running through the band has so far not resulted in any long-term issues.

Fans who were planning to attend the concert, some driving from Canada and others traveling from the U.K. responded to the news with relative understanding.

"Feel badly for the folks who traveled and booked flights and rooms. I'm sure Bruce will MORE THAN make up for it," posted one person on Twitter.

"Just hope it's a quick recovery and those with tickets get to see him again when it's rescheduled," said another.
