Brown Bag Lunch Concert Series returns May 6-10

May 2—VALDOSTA — The Brown Bag Concert Series is returning to Downtown Valdosta Monday-Friday, May 6-10.

Presented by the Main Street Office, the series promises free performances from a diverse lineup of bands, each day from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Unity Park Amphitheater, 301 E. Central Ave.

Attendees are encouraged to bring along chairs or blankets to relax and soak up the music.

This year's lineup features:

— May 6: Jen Anders Duo.

— May 7: Magnetic South.

— May 8: D.J Tim Fry.

— May 9: VocalFlo and the 4Real Band.

— May 10: Khemistry.

"Valdosta Main Street is thrilled to revive the Brown Bag concert series," said Kym Hughes, Mainstreet Downtown Manager. "This event promises to enliven the downtown area and provide both locals and visitors with an unforgettable experience at Unity Park."

The concert series coincides with National Historic Preservation Month, a time to honor the rich heritage of communities and pave the way for their future prosperity.
