Brooklyn Peltz Beckham was taken aback by his dad David Beckham’s 2023 Netflix documentary, Beckham.

Speaking exclusively with Men’s Journal, the model and eldest child of David and Victoria Beckham revealed for the first time “there was footage in there that I've never seen before.”

It was a good kind of surprise, however, because Brooklyn loved it. “It’s so crazy because I went through it all with my mum and dad. Like, I was the only son before my brothers and my sister that really went through everything with my mum and dad. The football and moves and all of that.”

Directed by Fisher Stevens, Beckham chronicles the turbulent life of soccer star David Beckham, including his domestic difficulties and the cost of fame. For his son, Brooklyn, it offered a clarifying moment.

“I really enjoyed seeing people's reaction to it, because I felt like no one really understood until that came out.”

Brooklyn features in the documentary, but right now he doesn’t have any acting aspirations. “My wife's an actress and director and writer,” he says of Nicola Peltz. “So I feel like that's more her thing. I'm more in the business aspect.”

In that vein, Brooklyn launched a Facebook cooking show in 2021 called Cookin’ With Brooklyn, as well as an Uber Eats pop-up restaurant. Now he’s partnering with Baileys S’mores Liqueur to devise two cocktails that will “help determine if you are Team Roast or Team Toast.” There’s the Dark N’ Roasty, which apparently tastes like burnt crisp marshmallow, and the Toast-Tini, which has a dash of banana liqueur.

“Since I've gotten married, now all of our married friends come over every weekend and I make drinks for everyone. So it's something I really love doing, and you know, I love drinking…In England, every December, we always have hot chocolate and Baileys. That's like mine and my family's tradition.”
