‘Brooklyn Nine-Nine’-‘New Girl’ Crossover: Watch Gang, Cops Collide (Exclusive Videos)

Tonight, the “New Girl” gang meets the cops from “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” in a one-hour Fox comedy crossover event. TheWrap readers won’t have to wait until 8 pm. to see what happens, however — we’ve got exclusive clips from both sitcoms in this post.

First, on “Brooklyn Nine-Nine,” no one at the precinct is pleased about being transferred to the night shift, but Jake (Andy Samberg) tries to make the best of it by solving cases late with Charles (Joe Lo Truglio). The best buds also do a little role play as French cat burglars, just like old times. Apparently, that occasionally works.

As Jake struggles with his first case back at the precinct, he encounters Jess (Zooey Deschanel), who is visiting New York, and enlists her to help him find his suspect. Meanwhile, Holt (Andre Braugher) researches ways to increase office morale, and Amy (Melissa Fumero) tries to figure out why Rosa (Stephanie Beatriz) keeps taking such long breaks.
