Brookfield Zoo Chicago announces summer concert series

BROOKFIELD, Ill. — Brookfield Zoo Chicago announced Monday a summer concert series to celebrate its 90th anniversary.

The series is called “Roaring Nights” and will feature The Fray, Barenaked Ladies and Gin Blossoms.

The Fray headlines on Saturday, June 22, Barenaked Ladies play Friday, July 12 and Gin Blossoms play on Saturday, July 27.

The Ultimate Chicago playlist: 400 songs from local artists

On concert nights, several of the Zoo’s animal habitats will be open until 7 p.m.

Tickets are available beginning on April 15.
