Brooke Shields isn't a regular mom, she's a cool mom. And on Sunday, the supermodel confirmed her status after debuting matching tattoos with her 18-year-old daughter, Grier Hammond Henchy, that they got in honor of Mother's Day.

In a series of snapshots shared by tattoo artist Scott Campbell on Instagram, the mother-daughter duo showed off their new ink that's intended to represent Grier stepping into her mom's shoes—quite literally. The tattoo, which is placed on Grier's wrist and Brooke's forearm, shows two sets of feet (one tiny, one big) wearing the same pair of heels.

"When she was little, she would always just wear my shoes, no matter how teeny she was," Shields explained of the inspiration behind the ink during an episode of Campbell's Stupid Things For Love podcast. "She would go into my closet and come out and have breakfast in her diaper and high heels, and then the night gown and high heels."

She added, "And you hear her clicking all over the house."

In addition to Grier, Shields is also a mom to another daughter, Rowan Francis Henchy, whom she shares with her film director husband, Chris Henchy. Back in 2021, she and Rowan got matching ladybug tattoos to commemorate the then-18-year-old's high school graduation. "A special graduation gift and memory with my girl 🐞 I'm so proud of you, I love you more than words can say," the Blue Lagoon actress wrote alongside of a photo of the pair's mommy-and-me ink.
