Brooke Shields and Grier Hammond Henchy Have Stylish Mother-Daughter Night Out at 2024 TriBeCa Ball

Brooke Shields and her daughter Grier Hammond Henchy were one stylish pair on Monday night. .

The actress, 58, attended the 2024 TriBeCa Ball at New York Academy of Art alongside her 17-year-old, the two dazzling as photographers snapped them smiled and posed together on the red carpet.

Sporting glasses and hoop earrings, Shields looked glamorous in a one-shoulder black and pink dress. Grier, meanwhile, was effortlessly cool in a graphic gray and black suit, which she accessorized with gold jewelry and black heels.

Shields’ hair was styled in loose waves, while her daughter kept her long locks sleek and straight. Both carried gold clutches.

On her Instagram Story, Grier celebrated the night out by sharing a snap of her outfit in a mirror selfie.

In addition to Grier, Shields also shares daughter ​​Rowan Francis, 20, with her screenwriter and producer husband, Chris Henchy. The two married in 2001.

Just last month, the Pretty Baby: Brooke Shields star celebrate her husband’s 60th birthday with a loving post on Instagram. “Happy birthday, my love!! ❤️🍾🎂" she wrote on March 23. "I have no idea what we’d do without you Chris, love you so so much xx."

Along with her words came a series of photos, including one in which she planted a kiss on Henchy’s cheek. Among the other photos was a photo of the family of four together.

Opening up to PEOPLE in March 2023, Shields revealed the key to her and Henchy's long-lasting romance was laughter. "He made me laugh and he consistently makes me laugh and doesn't take anything too seriously so I don't go down those rabbit holes the way I used to," she said. "He sort of just brings me back out and says, 'We'll figure it out.' So he's good at leveling me."

Meanwhile, Grier has began to pursue a career in modeling, with her mother's blessing.

The mother-daughter duo even modeled together in a 2022 Mother's Day campaign for Victoria's Secret — something Shields told PEOPLE "gave her a new perspective on her child."

"To watch her handle herself in a way, it makes me realize, 'Okay, she's a pretty strong character,' " Shields said.

There were some stipulations, though, to entering into the biz. "I finally had to give in and say, 'If you’re gonna do this, I’m not gonna be your manager. You're going to be with an agency. You’re going to have a great work ethic. It’s not going to be comfortable. You're gonna listen to me. And you're going to college,' " Shields explained during an interview on Live with Kelly and Mark.

Since then, Grier has become a staple on red carpets. She's honored her mom, too, rewearing some of Shields' former frocks for events including the New York City premiere of Shields' Hulu documentary in March 2023, where Grier wore a vintage Dolce & Gabbana suit that Shields wore on the '90s sitcom Suddenly Susan.

In December 2023, Grier did it again, showing up to CNN Heroes: An All-Star Tribute in a strapless black column dress by Richard Tyler — the exact same one her mom wore in 2006 at the Carousel of Hope Ball in Beverly Hills, California, six months after giving birth to her daughter.
