The star also took a moment to thank her cast, noting that she will continue to perform through the remaining shows.

"I’m also so grateful for the unrelenting support of my @merrilyonbway producers and company. Together, they have made it so that I can happily work safely, all while growing this true Broadway baby."

"So, I will be continuing with the show, and finish the run on July 7th with my incredible cast. Come see (both) of us at the Hudson!" she concluded the post.

For Brinson's birthday this year, Mendez shared a sweet photo on her Instagram of the couple as they took a walk in Central Park. "It’s my favorite persons birthday! J, you are pure light….and make everything you touch feel warm and so seen," the expectant mom wrote in her caption.

"This past year has been full of SO many challenges…a cross-country move, a strike, a Broadway run with mommy being gone every evening. And through it all, you have stepped up so hard and been the man of Lucy and I’s dreams, every single day."

"Watching you continue to build and execute your vision for yourself has been just, awe-inspiring. I couldn’t be prouder to be your partner. Happy Birthday, my sweet love. Keep coming into your stride! I’ll be right here, watching and cheering! I love you," she said.
