Broadway’s Talk Back Video: Get Out & Vote!
Although the Broadway community came out in force a few weeks ago for a fundraiser in support of Hillary Clinton, today’s message was non-partisan: Vote. Over the last several days, Jujamcyn Theatres president (and Deadline co-author of Gerard & Roth) assembled this video with more than 200 images from every Broadway show and many tours.
As Gavin Creel’s anthem “Noise” runs in the background, you should spot Bette Midler, Andrew Rannells, Leslie Odom Jr, Cynthia Erivo, Kristin Chenoweth, Cyndi Lauper, Sutton Foster, Harvey Fierstein, Mary-Louise Parker and hundreds more, some in their dressing rooms, others in mufti. See how many you can identify. And take their advice: Vote.
